IMPEACHMENT DUE NOW BEFORE THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER

KUCINICH IS OFFERING TO INTRODUCE ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT TONIGHT, JUNE 10, 2008.

http://www.c-spanarchives.org/congress/?q=node/77531&id=8583196

NADER URGED IMPEACHMENT AGAIN LAST WEEK, DEMONSTRATING OUTSIDE THE CAPITOL BUILDING in D.C.

MY OPINION IS RALPH NADER IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE WHO RAN IN 2000, 2004, AND IS CURRENTLY RUNNING AGAIN IN 2008 WHO OFFERS A PROPER MANDATE TO REPRESENT THIS COUNTRY AS A NATION WITH A TRUE PEOPLES DEMOCRACY FOR THE PEOPLE, OF THE PEOPLE, AND BY THE PEOPLE.

CORPORATE RULE, BY DEFINITION HAS NO PLACE IN OUR U.S. CONSTITUTIONALLY FRAMED DEMOCRACY.

Government is for the PUBLIC interest, NOT private profit and greed against the public and the interest of the public, which includes environmental protection.

My view of Georege W. Bush is that he is a warmonger and does not respect the public interest and like his father, "has no clue" as to what is due, and due to his offenses against the country and the world order and SAFETY, his impeachment to protect the public against his undoing of our government and world safety and order, is DUE.

Nader would be the best President of all Presidential Candidates in sight and the media is egregious for trying to insist on party rule and a 2 party system that is media hype, not real. Registration statistics prove the literal non-partisan truth and the obvious reality any indpendent strong challenge is OWED public view for the public voting to choose their current mandate to be represented at a leadership level in the Office Of President with a President ABLE to uphold the U.S. Constitution.

You do not put a Party into office,
you put a President into Office.

Nader would not take the power away from the people, but deliver the mandate of peace and proper use of taxes for the PEOPLE not power against the people by corporate corrupt moguls with no respect for public interest policy and the law itself.

To the Honorable John Conyers, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, House of Representatives, U.S. Congress Re: IMPEACHMENT DUE I am responding to an urgent email request to give rebuttal statements from citizens and voters who believe impeachment is DUE of George W. Bush.

Before I address the 5 reasons tendered as "excuses" which I do not believe John Conyers would have tendered BECAUSE I read the book by both Conyers and John Bonifaz, and I also sent a fresh newly purchased copy to my congressional district representative, MICHAEL CAPUANO, as well as an earlier suggested QUICK REMEDY TO FORCE A LITMUS TEST of the truth of Congress and the truth of BUSH--a letter (wording certainly was off the cuff and should be thoroughly considered and revised and edited, likely, but it was a Declaration of Independence from "King Bush" and due to his autocratic rule against the public will and public interest, and against the wording of the U.S. Constitution for the duties of the U.S. President WHICH IS NOT TO DECLARE WAR, certainly unprovoked war.

Congress has the required duty of war declaration as a proper REPRESENTATION of a PUBLIC WILL of a NATION.

There is NO ONE who BELIEVES BUSH has such height and wisdom as to invade ANY country without the proper CAUSE KNOWN. THERE WAS NO PROPER CAUSE except the view of Hussein and his offenses against his own countrymen, NOT the WORLD. And, the Constitution MUST be upheld.

A letter is an efficient test of the truth of Congress as to wanting BUSH to RESIGN. A unanimous letter, if such is the truth of Congress would indeed TEST BUSH's willingness to abide by a proper view of a DEMOCRACY and especially the U.S. Constitution upheld, by such a request by Congress. There are some people who are so upset and feel offended by Bush that they believe he would not comply with Congress. It would be a valid beginning to prove proper cause from expedited Impeachment.

The five reasons, I offer rebuttal, in the event they do represent a concern to our Judiciary Chairman, John Conyers:

1. Majority do not want impeachment but do want Bush out of office.

Rebuttal: If they want Bush out of office, are they a majority who believe the election is going to accomplish that? Each day that Bush is in office is a day for the worse, not the better, in my view, and likely a majority if the majority indeed says they want him out of office. It is fair enough to require an immediate poll of a minimum of 1000 voters in 50 states and see what results occur. I have seen intentionally distorted polls using only 1000 during the election as if 1000 represents the entire nation, when indeed 1000 does not when you are talking of a proposed Presidential Candidate for a new four years of leadership for a WANTED agenda, not private enterprise put into public office as if it belongs to the good of a country.

My more emphatic rebuttal of why impeachment as the means to get Bush out of office is that I want Ralph Nader for a PROPER President who can offer the national agenda leadership at a proven track level, and that he would uphold the duties of President defined in the Constitution and offer a Democracy for the people, by the people, of the people. He is smart and able, and a proven leader. HE WANTS IMPEACHMENT. It is a proper prelude to his taking office for the people, by the people and of the people. THE PUBLIC MUST OBJECT to the Bush Autocracy and Offensive agenda and abuse of the proper budget and use of a tax supported government FOR this country.

2. Corporate Media Will Slay "US"

Rebuttal: THEY WILL COVER IT, and I agree they are Corporate {Corrupt} but the proceedings can be done in such a way as to force the TRUTH against them if they think they can influence the public against the impeachment, FORCE the right stuff at the outset. Do as I did as a 25 year old publicist for a Connecticut Human Rights Law Enforcement agency, the CHRO, when I answered the media, since it was my job to be "on the record" I chose my words to force them to be ON TRACK and to stay there, since I offered them the 5 W's as the opening response to their queries. They will publish what you agree to on the record, and they do that. They try to steer it off, but you MUST affirm WHAT YOU SEEK TO DO, with the FACTS in order. A letter of resignation as a beginning, would be very on the record, and a majority of signers would prove the truth of Congress--they need new leadership to END the WAR in IRAQ and to get peace and diplomacy on track. When speaking to the media, be "on the record" and stay there. Know what you want to say and say only that. If you yourself are not for impeachment, and the country IS, then you are not a good spokesperson and will not react with the right stuff. I was for the CHRO and always forced the right stuff. Likewise, I seem to be on the same page as Ralph Nader entirely. I see him as the best, and I will use another person to reinforce the truth that sometimes another person is "on the same" page, precisely, when it comes to policy on a broad scale. A very nice bookseller named Pablo at the Harvard Bookstore, left his job to volunteer for Nader due to my conversations and what Nader was standing for and would do, he went to volunteer in NY where his family would offer him housing and volunteering was feasible. I protested and said, "Don't leave your job! Stay here and do it on the side." He replied, NO, I am doing it full time. He represents everything I believe in. Pablo knew Democracy doesn't happen all by itself. Candidates need proper support.

But, also the media is EXPECTED to do a watchdog duty, and when they fall down, they MUST be FORCED by the proper wording when they call. Guaranteed they will not like impeachment. But, also, guaranteed, they will take it seriously, and they should. It should be represented by serious minded people who want our Government to be a Democracy with proper leadership ON TRACK.

3. Time.

That is the only one I agree with, and that is why a letter asking him to resign by Congress makes good sense. Impeachment should follow, and it would expedite things. It might behoove someone to ask Ralph Nader if they prefer the impeachment without such a letter, as a proper Constitutional REMOVAL from office. There are about five months to November and the "right stuff" for a proper national agenda is not showing by the CORPORATE CORRUPT MEDIA and it should be FORCED and impeachment is ONE of the proper means to accomplish that.

4. No votes.

Cowards, not principled truth. The answers to these "issues" before them, and decisions on those "issues" might net the votes. So, there, I am ad lib getting convinced perhaps Conyers wants these answers to net the votes.

5. Election defeat of the impeachment party....likely the fear of failure. The SUCCESS is DUE, and the grounds are his autocracy against the national will. Bush is NOT upholding the duties of the President under the Constitution. He has no authority under the Constitution to declare war. George W. Bush asked for the October Resolution which Congress granted him, according to the Book by Conyers and Bonifaz. Congress should not have granted that to him. However, the continued wars and policy unwanted in the entirety, is HUGE CAUSE for REMOVAL. Possibly a resignation could be followed by a national mandate for proper policy stated, (there are polls which show actual favor for ENVIRONMENT and PEACE as priorities), and NO GORE IS NOT THE ANSWER TO THAT nor is KERRY EVEN, although he is better than Gore, and the MEDIA owes the public the proper responsiveness to the NATIONAL TOP PRIORITIES for a nation on track with a budget on track and international law and diplomacy as GUARANTEED by the individual put into office. I hold it against both Kerry and Gore for knowingly preventing the BEST, Nader, from having the proper view of offering DEMOCRACY for the public to vote at a majority success level and put the PUBLIC MANDATE into office with the BEST RUNNING CANDIDATE. They knowingly lied and claimed the potential landslide due Nader both in 2000 and 2004. If Nader had been elected, Bush WARS would NEVER have happened, and both Gore and Kerry KNOW IT. Big time. That makes them dishonest politicians at a horrific level against the public interest, knowingly. I believe it is possible that Nader could be seen as VALID (i.e. the only one who belongs in office) since he was running in 2000 and 2004 and the MEDIA owes the public the proper view.

Thank you for seeking input to net votes for impeachment of George W. Bush.

If Congress believes that Bush should be removed, I believe a letter as a precedent would make the results more orderly.

Registered "unaffiliated" from a Republican Family - Vietnam generation. Told a man outside the Recent, June 6 Nader for President 2008 rally, that the Vietnam policy was NOT cured, the removal of the draft did NOT cure the problem, the Military Industrial Complex is still there. Nader is against the "bloated military budget" and against the ILLEGAL war in Iraq and would bring the TROOPS HOME and replace them with U.N. neutral troops while the Iraqis re-establish self-rule and have peace beginning in the Middle East, without any U.S. intervention, but respect and world order to prevail with an outstanding leader with a track record, generous enough to cap his career appropriately.

I did research after 2004 to discover the registered voting statistics.

24 states register NO PARTY required when registering to vote, it is simply a registration form. No party declaration provided by state choice for registering to vote.

26 states allow declaration: 20.5M are "other" (outside the two parties, minor parties and unaffiliated)
25.5M are Republican
35.5M are Democrat

This are Nov. 2006 current statistics. I

intend to update them for proper view of a reality that a MAJORITY exists outside the two parties. AND, anyone knows EVEN IF there were all Republicans and Democrats which certainly there are NOT, they have the right to see a STRONG CHALLENGE against the corrupt two party rigged, by the media, is my view, mostly, and there is some proof ot that, of course. I cite a USA Today Gallup poll where they forced Hillary Clinton and Obama as the ONLY CHOICES being polled and unfairly and obviously intentionally ommitted the other Democratic candidates. My complaint to USA Today for egregious railroading went unanswered.

In a proper capitalistic success ful competitive market, IF I WERE ABLE, replacing the media with proper coverage should net their demise. However, this is EGREGIOUS to such a height on unconscionable, that this impeachment of Bush due to the media lacking proper conscience is an unfortunately VERY necessary state of affairs.

Certainly Congress must be dismayed at the clear lack of proper leadership, and the impeachment is the remedy, and is in the Constitution for a good reason. The media hates impeachment and they will scramble. The Judiiciary Commiteee should plan ahead, and proceed calmly and offer only the proper information as to the exact proceedings in place to the media. Have an authorized spokesperson. I believe Capuano is decent, but he has not replied to my request for impeachment. However, his UPDATES showed he reminds the voters he was among 66 who voted against the Patriots Act.

Nader is certainly for the Repeal of that Act. He is on the record for its repeal.

If needed, I can be reached at my cell phone at 617-501-3491. Capuano, however, should be able to affirm my vehement support that Bush should be put out of office and impeachment is DUE.

Thank you.

Elizabeth Owens Ellis
